    The MT Space, CCAT (Canadian Center of Arts and Technology) , and Tapestry will remember all those who attended Legion of Memory, sadly the offensive is now over. But do not despair for the good old days as a pre-emptive but measured invasion may be staged in the Spring and Summer of 2007.

    CAFKA 2005 Collaboration & Inspiration

    As part of Contemporary Art Forum Kitchener and Area (CAFKA) 2005 - x industria.

    The MT Space presents an experimental series of improvised pieces of theatrical motion-activity derived from encounters with the art projects at the Forum. Through theatrical motion, the art projects become unconventional performance spaces as the performers explore relationships between the physical structures of the works and the performers' emotional impulses triggered by these structures.

  • Performance | Three-Legged Horse 27.5.2005

    Three-Legged Horse examines the final years of Russia's most prolific ballet dancer of the early twentieth century; Vaslav Nijinsky. Watch as Nijinsky falls from celebrity into schizophrenic self-professed martyrdom. Experience his struggle to preserve his identity amidst a clamorous public demanding for the return of "the god of the dance." Three-Legged Horse is the culmination of three rounds of theatre workshops since July of 2004 and is The MT Space's first offering to the community of original work.

    Release of new book, "From Poland to Canada : In Broken English" by Boleslaw Czernewcan, readings by the author in both Polish and English, and multimedia presentation by Tracy Whelan, video artist.

    Boleslaw Czernewcan is a Polish-Canadian poet living in the Waterloo Region. "From Poland to Canada " is his third book.
