  • Forum To Be Held In Place Of Iraq Show 21.9.2015

    Despite the cancellation of Camp by the National Theatre Company of Iraq, which was to run at IMPACT 15, we are determined to bring the cast to Canada.

  • Camp at IMPACT 15 Cancelled After Visas Refused 18.9.2015

    Due to lack of visas from the Canadian government, we have been forced to cancel Camp at IMPACT 15. The show is about  two characters seeking refuge from violence, pain and death in their country.

    Performed by the National Theatre Company of Iraq, Camp was scheduled to run on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27 at The Registry Theatre in Kitchener.

  • IMPACT 15 Opening Ceremonies 18.9.2015

    This biennial award, sponsored by Tottering Biped Theatre, will be given during the IMPACT festival to partners, friends and supporters of theatre artists in Waterloo Region.

    The award is designed to acknowledge the tremendous and often publicly unrecognized contributions that partners, friends, and supporters of artists make to artists, festivals, and the community as a whole.

  • IMPACT15 Launch a Huge Success! 20.7.2015

    Last Tuesday we headed to the Boathouse in Victoria Park, Kitchener to celebrate the launch of IMPACT 15. It was the perfect venue, and we had a full house!

    Members of local community, press, and political organizations mingled in anticipation of our festival lineup. Representatives from CBC KW, the Waterloo Region Record, Waterloo Region Tourism, Grand Social, Centre in the Square, the Community Edition, IMPRINT and more were present to welcome our theatre festival back for its fourth run.

    MT Space was proud to be at the second annual Kultrún World Music Festival on July 11th and 12th. Our team of staff, volunteers and friends took in the sights and sounds of world-class global performances all weekend while we talked to festival-goers about IMPACT15.

    As of our IMPACT 15 launch event on July 14th, we are pleased to announce that tickets are now available for purchase.

    Early bird passes are on now until August 21st -- get yours for only $100. This features access to all shows. Early bird conference passes are $150, which includes access to all shows as well as our three-day conference series. After August 21st, passes will be $115 and $175, respectively.
